Brave Teen Collective

Brave Teen Collective is designed to be a space where girls can show up as they are, feel comfortable being themselves, and grow along the way.

Through a mix of conversation, creativity, mindfulness, and hands-on experiences, participants explore topics like friendships, confidence, and gratitude in a way that feels natural and relatable.

At its core, Brave Collective is about creating a space where participants feel seen, heard, and empowered to trust themselves and their voice.

Brave Teen Collective Overview

❋ Who: Brave Teen Collective is for girls who are in 7th grade and 8th grade 2026-2027 School year.

❋ Group Structure: Group size will be from 8-10 participants. Due to the nature of the labs/workshop these are closed groups once filled.

❋ Commitment: Must be able to commit to 3 out of the 4 dates.

❋ Brave Teen Collective Groups are not therapy groups: They incorporate therapeutic tools and skill-building activities. They are not a substitute for clinical mental health services or individualized therapeutic support.

The way we begin matters. We'll gather after school to slow down, check in, and practice simple tools that help us decompress, reconnect, and create a strong foundation for the school year ahead. Through connection and sharing, participants will gain the support of a small group while building meaningful relationships and a sense of belonging.

September: Setting the Tone

By October, the excitement of a new school year has often given way to increasing academic demands, busy schedules, evolving friendships, and the pressures of middle school This gathering provides a supportive space to build practical skills for managing stress, navigating gossip and friendship challenges, and setting healthy boundaries. Through meaningful conversation and interactive activities, participants will leave with tools they can use both at school and beyond.

October: Navigating Stress & Friendships

November: Practicing Self-Reflection & Building Confidence

This gathering provides an opportunity to slow down, self-reflection, and reconnect with what matters most. Along with individual check-ins, participants will explore confidence and ways to stay true to themselves while navigating friendships, social media, and everyday pressures. Together, we'll celebrate growth, strengths, and build practical strategies for moving forward with greater self-confidence and authenticity.

As the year comes to a close, we'll slow down to reflect on the moments, relationships, and experiences that have shaped us. Through festive holiday activities, meaningful conversations, and gratitude-focused practices, we'll explore how appreciation can positively impact our wellbeing and perspective. Together, we'll also begin planning a service project to give back to our community, recognizing that caring for others is an important part of caring for ourselves. Participants will leave feeling connected, encouraged, and inspired to carry gratitude and kindness into the new year.
