About Jonna:
As a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist I find it helpful to look at individual's systems (family, cultural, religious, etc...) to gain insight on how this shaped and impacted their relationships, whether positively or negatively. I have provided therapeutic support for individuals at different levels of care, diagnosis, and with multiple age groups. Due to relocating, as well as my own military background, I began to work with military members and their families throughout their deployments, reintegration and military lifestyle difficulties.
I knew I eventually I wanted to have my own private practice to use my expertise and training. I am passionate about working with tweens/teenagers, individuals, families, premarital/Engagement coaching, couples, and military members as they work towards a healthy life and healthy relationships.
Personally, I love spending time with my family of 7, which includes two golden doodles. I also enjoy running, yoga, listening to podcasts (which sometimes I recommend to my clients), and doing home projects. I also have served in the Air National Guard for 18 years and am married to an Army soldier, which is another reason why military members and their families are an area of focus for me. Thank you for visiting Brave Counseling & Coaching, PLLC. I hope you find this information helpful as you begin the process to find a therapist or coach that is the right fit for you.
